Hello Jennifer,
I wanted to write you and give you an update on Malcolm. First of all we renamed him Maxx. As you know we live in Norco and there is over 120 miles of street trails and back trails to ride not counting the Santa Ana river trails. Additionally, we are in a very large riding club here in Norco and we frequently ride with large groups of 40-150 horses. We have to do street trails, back trails, river crossings, hills, etc.. My primary concern was how Maxx would handle the back trails with dogs charging the fences, sheep, cows, emus, etc. I found out my first ride they don't bother him at all. He is not afraid of cars roaring by him on the front trails or the trash bins on trash day. Another major concern I had is would he cross the river. We went our two weeks ago with about six other horses to the river. He crossed deep water 4 times without hesitation. Additionally, that was the first time I had to trailer him. He jumped into the trail like a seasoned pro and unloaded easily. Last weekend we trailed him across town and went riding in the hills with about twelve friends. We rode for about 4-1/2 hours in the hills and he did a fantastic job. He is very sure footed and goes up hill slowly and down slowly. Based on the smaller groups I have been riding with I am positive he will do a great job in the large club rides.

Jennifer, You always said when I was ready for a new horse you could find exactly what I wanted. When you found Maxx you told me "OMG... he's everything you are looking for!" Well Jennifer, OMG... he's everything I was looking for! I cannot thank you enough for finding me my Maxx. I truly LOVE Maxx and I know he loves me. I look forward to a long, fun life together with Maxx.
Thank you so much!!
Mike

P.S. I will send you some pictures of Maxx and me ASAP.

Hey Jen Jen,
Wanted to give you a quick update on my experiences in finding my ‘dream horse’.
I first visited J Walker Ranch about a year before I actually ended up buying my new baby. From the get-go, Jen impressed me with her enthusiasm for the breed and her PATIENCE with the potential owners. First coming to the ranch I was interested in a beautiful sorrel and white gelding named Leonnesse. I also had the privilege to ride a lovely black & white mare named Callaway. I was however, unable to ‘cough up the bucks’ (lol) to buy either horse at the time, but knew unequivocably in my heart that I would definitely be buying a gaited horse from Jen and J Walker Ranch.

During the next 12 months, I gained more insight and riding experience into gaited horses, and decided (for me) that the Tennessee Walker was my first choice. I was however, the typical Orange County addicted-to-beauty buyer. I was more interested in the looks of a horse than his temperament or personality. God is gracious however, and He took me on a journey of understanding what I truly desired in my ‘dream horse’. There is of course nothing wrong with a pretty horse, but if you buy on that basis at the expense of character and gentleness, you really do yourself a disservice.

I eventually found myself in a financial position to ‘pick and choose’, and Jen (very magnanimously) allowed me to shortlist a number of horses and try them out until I found my true partner. One of the horses she suggested was Henry Wineheart. Henry was a real youngster, still gawky and lanky in his body (because he was so young – 2 years old), and so of course my initial reaction was that he was not ‘pretty’ enough. Jen really insisted that I consider him and so reluctantly I put him ‘on the list’. After riding him in the arena, I was really interested to take him on trail. I joined a group of riders who were taking a wine-ride, and had a truly wonderful time. Not only was Henry willing, he was wonderfully smooth in his gaits, fast when I wanted him to be, and relaxed when asked also, but he was incredibly patient with me. I had suffered a riding accident some months before and was still having difficulty with mounting and dismounting. At the wineries we visited, Henry was so completely generous with me (in terms of patience as I mounted etc), that I started to truly fall in love. I don’t think I could have found a better horse for me than Henry.

Now called Baily, or Baily Bear, he is the consummate love of my life. Jen truly understood how to make me ‘see through’ my initial ideas, and appreciate the true value of a horse. Baily is young and enthusiastic, patient and loving, and will grow with me as I re-learn my riding confidence. Oh, and by the way, he is gonna be knockout when he gets his ‘man body’!! I’ve learned a lot, gained a forever friend in Jen, and found my true trail buddy.

It was 1 year ago this week that I persuaded my husband, Thom, to take a side trip while visiting family in San Diego and check out J Walker Ranch. Now, in our 50’s, we were indulging our lifelong dream to own horses but had not yet found the “right” horses.
We arrived and were immediately impressed by Jen and her staff. They gave us a tour, telling us about the horses, and finding out about our experience level and situation. They got us up on some Walkers and we both were hooked. We all had the most fun watching my husband ride. I have seldom seen him so giddy. He was falling in love with the gaited horse.
Although I was immediately drawn to Bodie (as most everyone is). We rode lots of horses, leaving him for last. We had only come to look, but we left with a paid receipt for the beautiful spotted buckskin.
Over the next 2 weeks back home, it became apparent that when we retuned to J Walker Ranch to pickup my Bodie, we would need to try to find a second gaited horse for my husband.
Again, we rode so many more horses, (a new shipment had arrived in our absence), and at the last second we discovered Style (renamed Dude), who had just come available that afternoon. That was it. My husband loved him and we left with 2 gaited beauties.

I cannot say enough about Jen, Rachell and the rest of the staff at J Walker Ranch. They were so honest and caring through the entire process. They are truly dedicated to introducing and educating potential owners about these wonderful horses and do all they can to insure a good match. Making the sale seemed secondary. Everyone I have told is amazed with Jen’s trade-in policy and willingness to work with clients to get the best possible outcome.
I have to say, after a few weeks riding at home, we came to the realization that, although we had the most awesome horses, we were on the wrong horses! Dude was supposed to be my husband's horse and Bodie was supposed to be mine, but we switched and have never looked back. Bodie definitely prefers a man’s touch and he and Thom are perfect together. On the other hand, I love Dude; he has SO much personality. He takes such good care of me as on the trail and I try to return the favor. He is young and we are learning together. He is truly my buddy.
I think Jen knew right away that I was blinded by Bodie’s beauty, and that he and Thom would end up together. And Dude, what can I say, anyone would fall in love with him; he is so cute and willing to please.
We cannot thank Jen enough for helping us realize our dream.

Hey Jen!

I feel so blessed to have met you, especially after my long search to find my perfect horse.  I looked for so long and I almost gave up because there just didn't seem to be anyone who understood what I was looking for.  I never imagined that I would buy a horse from someone in California!  There were some Tennessee Walkers here locally (I live in Las Vegas!), but after talking with the people who were selling them I didn't feel comfortable in their knowledge of horses in general let alone gaited horses.  Then my friend told me about your website.  After speaking with you on the phone I knew that I was in good hands.  When I arrived at your beautiful ranch I was amazed at how comfortable and welcoming everything and everyone was.  The best part was that you understood what I wanted and didn't try to sell me a horse that wasn't right for me.  In fact you didn't try to sell me a horse at all.  After watching me ride, you made the most generous offer I've ever heard of.  You said that what I needed wasn't in your barn at the moment, but that you were going to Tennessee the following week and would I like to join you!  We became instant friends and the trip to Tennessee was a life changing experience for me.  You found me the most perfect mare and she is everything I wanted and more.  Mya is my soul mate and I would have never found her if it wasn't for you, Jen.   Now all of my friends and some of my family are also buying horses from you and I couldn't be happier for them.  There isn't any place out there like yours and the rest pale in comparison.  Your horses are truly special just like you.   Thank you.

Your friend,

Susan

Hi Jen,

I can’t tell you how much I love Premier. After having a few incidents I needed a horse to bring my confidence back up and Premier has done just that. He’s truly an angel. He’s great on the trail, just like you said, and even on his first ride in Norco with all the trash cans and cars and all sorts of jazz, Mr. Premier was as cool as can be.

He’s got such a great mind and very, very  little bothers him, if anything. He’s kind and takes care of me. He also has brought my confidence back up so I can also ride my mustang, Elmyr once again. I’m so very grateful to have Premier in my life. Thank you so much Jen.

Dear Jen

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  What an amazing trip we had!  I feel like I've known you my whole life and we only met in August when my friend and I drove from Vegas to meet you and your horses.  I know my list was a long one and I realized that I may never find exactly what I wanted after looking all over the state of Nevada.  When I drove out to see your horses, you told me not to settle unless it was exactly what I wanted.  I was stunned because everyone else tried to sell me whatever horse they had at the time.  You told me that it may take a little while to find a horse that was 16.2 and solid black, under 5 years old, Pusher bred, smooth gaits and a loveable spirit, but as it turned out, your 'scouts' as you call them had several candidates lined up for me to try.  Shaq is truly my dream boy! He's 16.3 solid black, Pusher bred, 4 years old, smooth as anything and a giant lover.  We had to use a ladder to get on him!  I love big horses and I love that he is so very tall and broad.  But most of all I am so happy to call you my friend.  You are one of a kind and anyone who buys a horse from you is a very lucky person and has access to a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Your grateful friend,

Nancy

Dear Jennifer:

It has almost been a year since Twila came into my life.  She is the only thing in my life that brings me true serenity!  I am truly the envy of all my friends. Of course, I am teased a bunch by everybody because at 16 plus hands and me at barely 5', she towers me.  Twila has learned to stand by my little ladder so I can mount her.  I ride in the Mojave with a bunch of cowpoks who live for their horses and none of them can believe how well behaved she is at 4 years old.  Of course she is the youngest, the biggest and the most spoiled of the 30 plus horses we ride with!  I even take my 5 year old grandson on our weekly 5 hour ride down in the riverbed on Twila and it is almost seems that she is more cautious when she knows he is in the saddle with me.  Twila is also our entertainment down in the river as she is the only horse that literally plays in the water.  My friends get a good laugh watching her stomp her feet in the water and playfully push the water around with her nose.  Some parts of the river are a little deeper than the top of her legs and I feel if it were just a bit deeper she would love swimming.  I can't tell you how much joy she has brought into my life and I owe it all to you.  Working with you was a pleasure and now that my grandson is more comfortable riding, I'll be calling you again as soon as he is ready for his own horse.

Thanks Again!!

I was looking for my first horse at 43 years of age. I knew that I wanted a gaited horse, but I was apprehensive about the process of adopting one. Having been forewarned by other horse people and “buyers beware” articles, I was scared of falling prey to dishonest horse sellers.

When I logged on to the J. Walker Ranch website, I couldn’t believe my eyes. There were pictures of many beautiful horses and their detailed descriptions, but what impressed me the most were the volumes of testimonies of satisfied people, experienced and novice alike. I had to see this place for myself.

After meeting Jen and her staff, my apprehension just melted away. What a dream team of compassionate, knowledgeable people! Their warmth and integrity was beyond words.

I made a decision on a little black and white gelding named Cirrus. But over time, I proved to not be confident enough for him on trail. Jen knew best and guided me to a beautiful buckskin gelding name Stoli. Jen’s exchange policy allowed me to ultimately make the right choice. I am more than impressed with her gift of matching horse to rider. Stoli is my dream horse (Cirrus has since been matched perfectly with a new mom).

Since my adoption of Stoli, I have spent countless hours at a place I call paradise. Stoli not only resides at J Walker Ranch, he is Creamy’s (Jen’s stallion’s) colt. He is a perfect testimony all by himself. Folks have offered to buy him from me for much more than I paid. He is that good! Stoli is priceless and I owe it all to Jen.

Hey Jen,

I wanted to thank you for being the ultimate match maker.  Ever since I was a child, I have loved horses and wanted one for my own.  Due to a bad accident, I became fearful of riding, yet I still had a love for horses.  Years had passed from my accident and I was finally ready to "get back in the saddle."  After one ride, my passion was back.

Your web site brought me to your incredible ranch.  The touching testimonials from others and the patience and care that came through your emails alone was enough for me to make the 400mile trip.

Your ranch was well worth the trip.  Your ranch is incredible!  The location is picturesque and your customer service is beyond words.  The entire experience with you is something I will cherish and never forget. You are a remarkable woman.  You are giving, understanding honest and kind.  You are a great friend to have.

Your ranch  is the ultimate 'Candy Store'!  Your horses are beautiful, gentle, well trained and most importantly loved and cared for.  Your love of horses and care for others comes through in all that you do.

I can't thank you enough for your patience and understanding.  Willow is my dream horse.  You knew this well before I did.  Willow is sweet, affectionate, gentle, kind, and  beautiful...my dream horse.

My experience was so wonderful at your ranch that we bought a second horse for my husband.  Mason is beyond spectacular in every way.  Mason is everything you said he would be and more.

You truly are a match maker for horse and rider.  My husband and I could not be happier with our wonderful J Walker Ranch horses.

Thank you for making our dreams come true!

Jen,
I wanted to take a few minutes to share the wonderful
experience we have had in working with you to extend our
family.  We knew little about gaited horses - we heard that
they were smooth (and they certainly are!)  but we had no
idea that they would have such great personalities and be so
in tune with people.  The horses have wonderful minds, are
loving and forgiving of their riders.   A perfect match for
us.
You have spent countless hours with us, helping us select
the horses that best fit our family.  We wanted to buy 4 so
that we could re-enter the world of horses with our married
kids.  You have a wonderful talent in finding horses with
great minds and wonderful attitudes.  The hardest part was
not wanting to buy them all!   We are so pleased with our 4
boys:  Jet, Commander, Turbo and Ike.

To all of J Walker Ranch’s future customers:  there are
horses out there that are less expensive, and some more
expensive.  Nowhere did we find the quality selection that
we found at J Walker Ranch.  Nowhere will you find the
dedication and commitment to making sure the right horse is
with the right owner.  Many buyers simply consider the
purchase of a horse as a transaction.  We found that was far
from the experience of working with Jen and her staff.  The
hours of education that we received, not just the lessons on
how to get the most enjoyment from our gaited horses
, but
the everyday things that we all need to know as horse
owners, was invaluable.  The price of the horse became
second to the priceless knowledge, caring and friendship
that we received.
Jen, you and Rachelle have worked with us so that we can
enjoy these magnificent horses for many years to come.  We
came to buy horses, and discovered the wonderful world of
gaited horses, and most importantly, your friendship for
many years to come.

Hi Jen,

A  few lines about my experience at your ranch. The first word that comes to mind is PROFESSIONAL. The regard, care and training you give your animals is wonderful. You truly look for the right home for the horse. Down the line you were true to every word you spoke to me. The horse I purchased from you has turned out to be all that you said. Your ranch was clean and well run. Your trainers were all very capable and nice. In my times visiting you I always felt welcome. In an odd way, I was sad when I did find my dream horse--this meant I would not be visiting your ranch any longer. I really have nothing but good things to say about my experience with you. I would definitely use you again if I was ever looking for another horse. Thank you for the wonderful horse I have and thank you for being so nice to me. Hope to see you on the trail.

Dear Jen:

Reading the testimonials from other happy horse owners is what brought me to J Walker Ranch in the first place, so I hope this encourages others to do the same.  I knew very little about Tennessee Walkers, or horses in general, for that matter.  You were so patient and understanding while guiding me through the process and made certain I found a horse that matched me perfectly.  I learn something new every time I come out to ride with you and your wonderful staff.  From the first day I stepped onto your ranch, I was welcomed with open arms and felt a part of your family.  This is a friendship I will cherish always.

I started riding late in life and never thought I would ever own my own horse.  But thanks to you, I now have Whiskey, who is gorgeous, sweet and gentle.  He is just an awesome horse and I cannot believe he is actually mine!

This has been a life changing experience for me and I owe it all to you.  Thank you for making my dream come true!

Love,

Dear Jen,

After so many years of wishing and dreaming, I am now the very proud and privileged owner of the most awesome mare in the entire world, Jackie O!!! I love her, Jen, and she is everything you said she is and so much more! I am so grateful that in all my searching I came upon your website. After looking at all your horses and their descriptions, I knew I was in the right place. I found myself returning again and again to look and read all about you and your ranch and I felt compelled to send you an email and introduce myself and let you know that I was interested in becoming a customer in the near future. You returned my email with so much warmth and sincerity I knew that I had made the right connection. As the weeks went by you were finding new homes for all your beautiful horses and I was so happy for them and for you but I had found myself completely taken by this one beautiful mare, Jackie O. I finally emailed you about how I was feeling and you and I had this immediate bond! Jackie O is a very special mare and I could feel the love that you had for her and now I have for her as well.

I have this wonderful, regal mare in my life now and I still sometimes can’t believe she is mine! You made it possible Jen. You are the most wonderful, honest, true and sincere woman I think I have ever met and I love you dearly! Your love for your horses and the people who come to own them is so very rare in your business. You are the salt of the earth and I will always treasure you and be grateful that I found you and your wonderful ranch. When I am with you and Jackie O it seems that all the cares of the world just seem to slip away and all that is left is joy!

Thank you for all the wonderful care and support you have given to me and continue to give to me and Jackie O. I want to be in your life forever!

 Love and Hugs,

Hi Jennifer,

We finally got around to getting the three horses together for a photo
shoot. As you can see by the picture, Maximus, Dillon, and our new
addition, Batman (fka Truman), get along very well. We want to thank you
again for bringing them into our lives. We couldn't be happier. We cannot
count how many times someone has told us how great our horses are. We
always make sure we tell them we got them at J Walker Ranch!

When we last saw you in July, we were in Warner Springs with Maximus and
Dillon on a trail riding vacation. We never thought we could go on vacation
with our horses, but they were awesome! We can't wait until we take another
trip with all three. Thanks again for everything!   We know your number if we ever need a 4th horse! Happy trails,
Sandy and Wendy

Jen,
When I started horse-shopping, I didn't know what kind I wanted but when I visited your website for the first time, I could tell by your descriptions of each horse how much you loved your job.  You know every single horse and genuinely care for not just the animals but the potential owners as well.  You knew I was a novice rider and even gave me a mini-lesson as I tried out different horses.  I love how honest you are about the horses weaknesses as well as strengths.  I fell in love with Phoenix after trying many horses over about 2 months.  Unfortunately, he had a bruised heel and didn't pass the vet check soundly.  But you were so gracious as to offer a guarantee on his foot for a year!  Besides your normal money-back guarantee, I thought this was an amazing offer and felt I couldn't pass up my "love lump" since I had nothing to lose by purchasing him.  I've had him for 3 months now and he's gotten the all-clear from the vet re-check (which you even paid for!) and is best friends with my daughter's horse.  You were a joy to do business with and it's clear that you care so much about the horses and making sure they have good families too.

Jen,

I just want to thank you so much for changing my life, not only with Dante which by the way he is beautiful, but allowing me to feel confident in myself again.  I am finally full filling a lifelong dream that started off so bad, and has turned out to be so good with your help.  Soon I will be able to ride Dante along with my family, and my other horse Norman and feel that they are well taken care.  You and Sabina have opened so many doors for me and have been so understanding.

Thank you so much, I look forward to a long lasting friendship.

Jen,

The moment I stepped onto your property, I fell in love with it all....  My mom purchased a horse from you and invited me out to meet her beautiful 4 year old gelding, Scoop and of course, you.  Well my life has never been the same!  I had never ridden a gaited horse before.... wow!  Incredible!  You are truly amazing with these horses, Jen... the love, attention, care, respect and knowledge you have shows in each and every one of your horses.  Your passion for these incredible animals have brought so much joy to so many people and families.  You are amazing!

Thank you for having so much faith and trust in me and allowing me to work with you and your horses.  I have learned so much and I feel so honored to be a part of the J Walker Ranch family.

I had a Quarter mare of my own and never really thought about having another horse... but getting to work with your horses, you can't help but fall in love with all of them.  But then came a very special gelding... Charger... he is amazing.  Our first ride together and I was hooked and in love!  We went through hills, past dogs, tree trimmers, wide open terrain... he was sure footed up and down the hills, calm as can be.  He is so smooth I feel as though we are floating along, effortlessly.  I had to have this kind, loving, gentle and fun horse!  I am in love with a boy on four legs.  He is my knight in shining armor and he has my heart for life.  Thank you for bringing the light of my life to me and putting an everlasting smile on my face and in my heart.

You are an incredibly beautiful woman with a love for life and horses and you truly care about the people that come to you for help.  That is un heard of in this industry!  My respect for you cannot be explained in words.

Love,

Hey Jennybear,
As you know, when I first started coming out to ‘the ranch’ I wasn’t shopping for a horse. It was a tranquil, comfortable place for me to go in the most painful time of my life. After the sudden death of my son Matt, the ranch was a healing place for me. You were so wonderful in letting me just hang around and love on all your beautiful horses.
As time went by, you’re encouragement and coaxing got me into the saddle and helped me move toward falling in love with a magnificent horse! Even after you told me what a great match Peso and I would be, you were still very patient during the months I considered a number of other horses. Thank you much for allowing me time to see he and I were meant for each other. The Paceman and I are very happy together and are growing stronger with each passing day. (oh, by the way, he’s not pacey at all, it’s just his nickname J). He’s fun spirited, inquisitive, kind hearted, brave, and loves to go on trail. I love my horse!
It has given me great pleasure to tell countless people how much you love every horse you sell and how good you are at matching horses with customers. It is so evident that you want the best home for your horses and want your customers to enjoy everything that a wonderful J Walker Ranch horse has to offer.
Jen, your thoughtfulness in wanting to give me something to love when I was hurting so badly will never be forgotten. Thank you so much for your generosity and loving kindness in the gift you’ve given me - The Paceman. And of course, our relationship as sisters.
Love you always,
Kat

Howdy,

We were fortunate enough to buy our beautiful horses from a reputable, and awesome business.  I wish all  businesses in general were as wonderful and kind as J Walker Ranch.  Being pretty new to the horse world and starting from scratch was difficult, however, Jennifer was awesome in guiding me through the process and listening to what my husband and I were really looking for.  I searched the web for days, and called a lot of people who had their horse for sale and I didn't have any luck.  In fact, one person basically almost did not disclose that his horse had navicular and I almost bought him.  After that experience I finally found Jennifer and J Walker Ranch.  She was so honest, sweet, and mostly was truly interested in helping me.  She knew exactly what I had experienced and wanted to make sure I would be happy.  I finally talked my husband into going to see J Walker Ranch, and she had just brought in a load of Walkers for us to choose from.

I saw Bode from a distance when we arrived and I was so excited.  I just knew I had to have him!  It was love at first sight for Bode and I.  We have bonded for life and he will take good care of me for years to come, and I will do the same for him.  He is so awesome.

My husband surprised me when he said he wanted his own horse.  That was not part of the deal.   We had agreed to only one horse and out of the blue he decided he had to have Alpine.  Unfortunately he was too much horse for us.  Without the proper training and experience we lacked the knowledge to handle such an advanced horse.  The good news was that Jennifer (being the sweetheart that she is, and standing behind her return/exchange policy), allowed us to bring Alpine back and choose a horse that was more appropriate for our level.

A true blessing, named Baron was waiting for us. Wow!  What a horse.  After a few horse lessons, we quickly put my husband on Baron and it was love for those two.  They have the same personality traits. Tough, yet gentle, rough on the edges, yet so sweet in the inside.  He just loves his horse!  I enjoy watching my husband saddle him, and talking to him.

Our interest in our beautiful horses is huge.  Our children enjoy them as well.  We spoil our horses as much as we spoil our kids.  For me it is all about bonding with these beautiful creatures, and riding with my husband side by side on these beautiful horses that we were so fortunate to find through J Walker Ranch...   we purchased, in my opinion, two of the most beautiful, healthy, and special horses.

 Thank you so much.

Sincerely,

Mike and Carmen

Hi Jen,

Lots of thanks for the most wonderful horse; MY TOBY (Tabasco)! He is an Angel. Upon his arrival, just wonderful things have happened in our lives. I say he is my lucky charm. It's so funny because a while back I would have never thought a Tennessee Walker would be the horse of my choice. But WOW, with your passion and knowledge of the breed, it has become a dream come true. Thank you so much.

Toby is home, and there is no place like home. He is family and always will be.

My Dear Jen,
I have fallen in love again! I just want to tell you that you and J Walker
Ranch have made my dreams come true. As you know I bought my first horse
very late in life and started to learn to ride. It is never to late to
realize your dreams. My first horse Rosie became lame shortly after I
bought her and it was a long year of trying to get her well again so I could
ride. I finally decided to look for another horse. One of my dear friends
told me to look for a Tennessee Walking Horse. I thought this would be
great because they just walked! I learned that they not only walk but also
have two other beautiful gaits that someone like me can ride and enjoy.
From the moment I met you at your beautiful ranch I knew that this was the
right place for me. Little did I know that I would find Scoop who is young
and strong and smart and loving and who takes care of me as his rider like
nothing I have ever known.
I am so grateful for your patience, love and knowledge of these magnificent
horses. Anyone who owns a J Walker Ranch horse is a very lucky rider. I
look forward to many years of riding and enjoying Scoop and I have you and
only you to thank for it.
All My Love,

Jen,

I just couldn't wait for you to get back so that I could tell you HOW MUCH I LOVE MY HORSE!!!  He has brought so much joy into my life and I don't know what I ever did without him.  I was so nervous about purchasing my very first horse, but you made it such a wonderful experience.  Although I was a beginner, you showed me a young gelding and I was told to buy an older, experienced horse.  You assured me that even though Scout was young, he had a great head on his shoulders,  he was gentle, kind and very smart.  I trusted you completely and you were absolutely right.  He is everything you told me he was and more.  He has my heart entirely and we were meant to be together.  I was so proud of him on our first trailer outing!  He jumped right in the trailer without hesitating and backed off just as easily.  My friend and I rode at Casper's Park  and she was riding her  very experienced trail horse and companion of many years.  Scout was even more brave and level headed than the old timer !   I want to share with every one what a wonderful place you have and most of all, what wonderful horses you have!  Thank you!

Baby Devi  before.... baby Devi  after

Let me start out by saying that my family is one of those “hard to fit”
families when in comes to horses. We range from 3 months to 63 years
of age and therefore have quite a range of experience and skill levels.
As a result, we required a very versatile horse to meet everyone’s
needs. Those of you who have worked with horses know how difficult it
would be for us to find a single horse that could make all of us happy
and still be happy itself. We have been buying and selling horses
ourselves for almost 20 years and have worked with a multitude of
sellers for our different disciplines.

 Without a doubt, Jen Johnson
was the best we have ever had the pleasure to work with. What sets her
apart from everyone else is her love of her horses. She truly, with
all of her heart, wants each horse to be placed in its perfect home so
that both horse and owner are in love and will always remain so. She
worked with us endlessly until we all knew we finally had the perfect
horse for us all to share. Boy, did she find a wonderful gelding for
our family that we can all ride and love forever. And the best part:
along the way she also found a fabulous mare......just for me.

I loved buying my horse from Jennifer  for so many reasons. First, she's an excellent listener at finding out what it is that you are really looking for in a horse. She'll combine that with your riding level experience and direct you to the horses that would be best for you. Also, I loved her willingness to train me in how to handle my new horse. Plus, Jen is a bundle of energy and fun.
I have owned my horse Nugget for eight months now and it's a match made in heaven. Thank you, Jen, for providing your services and bringing Nugget into my life. He is the highpoint in my day. I am blessed!

Howdy Jennifer:

I want to tell you how much I appreciate your accommodating my wife and me, with the purchase of our new baby Quazar or “Q” for short. I know that you will have great success operating “J-Walker Ranch”. Your passion and love for these animals is very apparent and speaks volumes to your customers.

Both I and my wife will not hesitate to speak highly of you and your operation as well as the quality of the stock you are presenting. Our veterinarian Christi Garfinkel, DVM, could not say enough good things about Quazar, as she was performing the vet check on him.

If you ever need any one to use as a reference, please don’t hesitate to call on me.
